DR. PETER AHLERS-NELSON, D.C.

Dr. Peter Ahlers-Nelson, D.C. grew up on a small dairy farm near Blooming Prairie, MN. In 2001, Pete entered the Air Force National Guard during his freshmen year at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. He graduated with a B.S. in biology and a minor in chemistry (pre-med concentration) in 2005. In 2006, Pete began his Chiropractic studies at Northwestern Health Science University in Bloomington, MN. While continuing his education, Pete decided to leave the military and was honorably discharged from the Air Force in 2007. Two years later, in 2009, Dr. Pete graduated with his Doctorate of Chiropractic.
Dr. Pete completed multiple internships in the Twin Cities, New Zealand and worked with a Chiropractor in Mississippi before opening his first practice in Albert Lea, MN in 2010. Dr. Pete met his wife, Courtney, within months of opening his office in Albert Lea and together they decided to move to Northfield in 2011 where they opened his 2nd office. They became parents to their son Linden in October of 2017.
